Dual Enrollment begins at FRA

August 12, 2015

Eight seniors at FRA are taking advantage of the new dual enrollment program that has begun at Flint River Academy this fall. “It’s free tuition dollars,” said University of West Georgia advisor April Wood. Students take core classes on line, free of charge courtesy of the state-including textbooks, and all grades transfer easily within the University of Georgia system. The grades earned go for both their high school and college GPA so Wood reminded them of the responsibilities of being an online student: don’t procrastinate, be diligent, and use time wisely.
